Pastor Garry is the founding pastor of Harvest Valley Christian Church in Pleasanton, CA where he resides with his wife, Jody. Pastor Garry and Jody have four children, Catherine (who is married to Mark Slezinger), Elizabeth, Michael and Caroline.
With a relevant, high-energy preaching style delivered with a unique sense of humor, Pastor Garry and his family moved to Pleasanton in 1987 to found and pastor Harvest Valley Christian Church. Beginning as a hub for campus outreaches throughout the Bay Area, Harvest Valley is now a vibrant community ministry of growing and dedicated followers of Christ.
Meeting Pastor Garry means encountering a man who is devoted to Christ, his family and his spiritual family. Pastor Garry has 25 years of ministry behind him, a Masters degree from Reformed Theological Seminary, and currently serves as the Chaplain for the Pleasanton Police Department, and with his dynamic
team has created, with God’s direction, a church experience where “family” is paramount, a place where we can experience the presence of God, celebrate life, and discover the purposes of God for our lives.
