Corporate Fast

From February 2-4 (Mon-Wed), Pastor Derek is calling Harvest Valley to a 3-day corporate fast in the spirit of the Esther Fast. Esther was the queen of a nation, and when she heard of a secret plot to annihilate her people, she knew that she needed to get the king to stop it. She asked her people to pray and fast so that she would find favor before the king, and he would take the side of her and her people. Following the fast, God’s favor was upon Ester and her people. The plot was uncovered, and the king protected them.

Today, our church is in need of favor for our new church building. For the last year, we have been taking steps toward finding our future home, and we have found it. But we need favor with our city to approve our use of the new building as well as financial blessing and favor with those who will be building our new church. Will you please join us in prayer and fasting?

You may choose to go on a whole fast (water and juices) or a Daniel fast (see below). Details for our Break the Fast Potluck are below as well.

We believe that when we fast together, God will take care of our corporate needs as well as our personal needs. Please prepare your hearts and plans for this upcoming fast. We are so grateful for you and your participation.
